Hello People !!
A quick announcement !!
I put up a poll on twitter 2 days ago asking whether I should do this post or not because I was skeptical about how many people would like this idea and whether anyone would even want to participate in it. So this is how the poll fared – 79% said yes and 21% said no out of 24 people who voted π. So I’m going ahead with this. A huge thanks to Vicky @ Books and Strips and Vijaylakshmi @ The Reading Desk for retweeting and spreading the word.
It is the 15th of July, here in India. Which means we are exactly one month away from India’s 71st Independence Day. So for this special day, I thought I’ll host a Q&A Session about India !!
So, ask whatever you like about India, its people, diversity, culture, food, really ANYTHING you’d like to know, in the comments section of this post. The comments section will be open for the next one month. On the 15th of August, I’ll put up a post with the answers to all of your questions. I’ll answer every question to the best of my abilities.
Hope this doesn’t turn into a HUGE flop ππ
Ask away people !

This is such a cool idea!! Whatβs your favourite thing about living in India? And what do you wish people outside India knew about your country? π

If someone wants to better understand Indiaβs culture through books what ones would you recommend that they read?

ooh I am interested but struggling to think of questions. Considering this is a book blog I would be interested to see which aspects of Indian culture you think are represented well in books (and other media) and which aspects you think are often misrepresented or omitted. Also what are some books set in India or with Indian inspired worlds that you enjoyed and thought represented the country well. Also hearing something about your everyday routine or things you think that other people might not know about life in India. Hope this helps!

It is SO not going to be a flop. Can’t wait to see what people ask. Especially about the lesser known states.
